The Puretec TAN40-E3 filter is specifically designed to reduce tannins from water sources such as river water or rainwater. Tannins are organic compounds that can cause water to have a yellow or brown tint and can impart an unpleasant taste or odour.
This system triggers backwashing cycles based on actual parameters such as the volume of water treated or the degree of contamination, optimizing resource usage and reducing wastage. By dynamically adjusting the backwash cycles according to real-time conditions, it ensures efficient regeneration while minimizing water and salt consumption.
Auto volumetric backwash offers greater precision and efficiency by tailoring regeneration cycles to the specific needs of the filtration system, resulting in improved performance and resource utilization.
Overall, the primary function of a tannin removal filter is to improve the aesthetics and taste of water by effectively reducing tannins and other organic compounds.
